Word 2007 won't change fonts?

I am trying to write a letter in Times New Roman, but for some reason word won't change from Calibri. I can change the fonts, but once I type any characters, it immediately changes back to Calibri; does anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it?Word 2007 won't change fonts?
Perhaps you're not changing enough. Try this:



1. Press CTRL/A to select the entire document.

2. Right-click in the selection and select Font.

3. Change the font.

4. Click OK.
