Everytime I type a new email, the color font is red and I never set it to that color..how do I change this?

Before I used to start a new email and the text would be black, then somehow all of a sudden I open a new email window and it starts off red automatically and it is most annoying to have to change that all the time when typing an email adn sometimes I forget to change it to black which is just irritating in the worst way!!! UGH!! HELP!!!Everytime I type a new email, the color font is red and I never set it to that color..how do I change this?
everytime you compose you will have to change color to suit you there is no default for this tool.
