Is there something wrong with my pic on photoshop?

for some reason, i can't write text on it. a text box appears, but no matter how i randomly type, change the font, or the color, the letters dont appear. i've tried it on other pictures without restarting photoshop, and it works perfectly. is there something wrong with my picture, or am i doing something wrong? i just click the text on the sidebar, drag a box, then start to type.Is there something wrong with my pic on photoshop?

Well, i'm not 100% sure but rename the file or make a copy of it with a different file name and path and then try editing it. It might work this way.
