I have the latest version of MS Word. When I type, Word tries to interpret my intent by auto-formatting text into various styles whenever I start a new paragraph. I want to turn this behavior off so I can just type and not have Word make changes to font size, type, etc.How do I turn off auto formatting in MS Word?
Click on the Office ICON (top left) Choose Word Options (bottom of box) Click on the proofing tab.
Click on the Auto correct options button and make the changes you want. There are several tabs so check each one to get MS Word to function as you like.How do I turn off auto formatting in MS Word?
Hoping 2010 is not so different from 2007.
Press the Office Button and go down to options, go on from there
