I just started a group, how can I change the type of text that I use to type the description?

I have searched on the site and clicked on all the help links and no help - I see other groups have enlarged their font - how can I do this, I see no option to change that when I am typing it up. Thanks!I just started a group, how can I change the type of text that I use to type the description?
you'd have to do the whole or part of the description in HTML code- do a search engine on 'how to use HTML text';
