How to change default font on microsoft Word 2007?

how do you change the default font on microsoft word 2007? my uncle needs it for his college paper and im not sure how to change the default. we know how to just change the font but we need to know how to make it automatically type in a certain font.

Setting the default font within Word



1. Launch Word. To open the Font dialog box, either click the button in the lower right corner of the ';Font'; group or press Ctrl-d .



2. Choose the font type and size that you want to be the default every time you open Word.



3. Click the Default... button in the bottom left corner of the Font window.



4. When prompted to confirm, click Yes.
