How to chatnge the default font type in MSword?

dear friend, in MS words ( micro soft words) the default font type is Times New Roman and size is 12. I want to change it to a deferent. how to do it. same problem in MS Excel. Please help. Thank uHow to chatnge the default font type in MSword?

Look at the top of the screen. Now, find the middle. Now, look about two inches (depending on your screen size) down. There should be a little box that says ';Times New Roman.'; You can click on that box to change the font.

As far as changing the size, look just to the right of the little box that says ';Times New Roman'; in it. You can change font size there.

Look at the top of the MS word. You will see a dropdown box which says Times New Roman. Click on the arrow to make the dropdown. Next to it you will also see another dropdown box which says 12 Click the arrow and change it.
