Help, the purple color is driving me crazy. I need to change it back....When I type an email the font is the wrong color , and size.I remember changing the font color, no clue how ?

MS Outlook, put the cursor in the text body, and then look in the tool bars above. You will see ';message'; and the ability to click on colors and change, or you can use ';format text';..The color change icon is usually a Block letter A with a color bar underneath.
