How do you change the default table font on Microsoft Word 2007?

Everytime I make a table and type in it the default font is Cambria +Headings in bold! It's so annoying! I have to keep changing it! How do I change the default table font to Verdana without having to press CTRL+A and making it Verdana everytime I type?How do you change the default table font on Microsoft Word 2007?
